Athens GA Piano Tuning

Athens, GA

Athens, GA
is an area that Pianos In Tune, LLC visits frequently for piano tuning, piano repair and piano maintenance.

Athens is located in northeast Georgia in Clarke County.  It is Georgia’s sixth largest city and since incorporating with Clarke County in 1991, is now officially known as “Athens-Clarke County“.

The city is most famous for being the home of The University of Georgia as well as the UGA Bulldogs college football team.  Both Fran Tarkenton and Herschel Walker are famous former UGA Bulldog football team members.  The UGA Performing Arts Center houses all of the university’s fine arts departments, including the Hugh Hodgson School of Music, the Lamar Dodd School of Art, the UGA Department of Dance and the UGA Deparment of Theatre and Film Studies.

Music and the arts enjoy a very high profile among the city’s many non-UGA entertainment offerings.  The Athens Symphony performs three or more times each year in the award winning The Classic Center.  The Georgia Theatre, a standing room only venue, hosts many performances each year for fans of both Rock and Indie styles of music.

Other things on Athens “to do” list include the State Botanical Garden of Georgia, Bear Hollow Zoo and Memorial Park, Sandy Creek Park and The University of Georgia Golf Course. And for music lovers, be sure to include a stop at Chick Music to check out all the great stuff they have, including Pramberger acoustic pianos!

The world famous Varsity has been serving it’s “What’ll ya have!” chilidogs in Athens since 1932.  No trip to Athens would be complete without stopping in and placing an order for “two chilidogs, fries, a fried peach pie and a PC!”

Pianos In Tune, LLC is proud to offer the entire Athen-Clarke County area competent and comprehensive piano tuning, maintenance and repair services.  We are located just a short drive southwest and frequent this area on a regular basis.  Also, owner Richard Bazemore, RPT, is one of the very few piano tuners servicing this area that can claim to have earned the title “Registered Piano Technician” with the Piano Technicians Guild.  A Registered Piano Technician (RPT) is a member of The Piano Technicians Guild (a non-profit organization of piano technicians) who has demonstrated competence by passing a series of three rigorous examinations on the maintenance, repair and tuning of pianos.
