Hiawassee GA Piano Tuning

Hiawassee, GA

Hiawassee, GA is an area that Pianos In Tune, LLC visits frequently for piano tuning, piano repair and piano maintenance.

Hiawassee is located in northeast Georgia in between the neighboring towns of Blairsville and Clayton.  It is the county seat of Towns County and its name comes from the Cherokee word Ayuhwasi, which means meadow.

There are many fun and exciting things to do in and around Hiawassee.  It is home to The Georgia Mountain Fairgrounds which plays host to several popular annual events including the Georgia Mountain Fair, the Superstar Concert Series, the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival and Georgia’s Official State Fiddlers’ Convention.  Fishermen can take delight in the Hiwassee River, which has been called ‘the hidden jewel of trout fishing.’  Local art can be found at the Artworks Artisan Center.  Other places of interest in the surrounding area include Brasstown Bald, Lake Chatuge, Vogel State Park and the Appalachian Trail.

In July of 2014, the owners of Pianos In Tune, LLC moved their camper to Lake Nottely RV Park and are now proud to claim Hiawassee and the surrounding area as their home away from home.  With the camper to serve as a base, we also happy to consider any location within 30 miles driving distance to be within our “local” service area which means that the same rates apply as they do from our home in Social Circle, GA.

Also, owner Richard Bazemore, RPT, is one of the very few piano tuners servicing this area that can claim to have earned the title “Registered Piano Technician” with the Piano Technicians Guild.  A Registered Piano Technician (RPT) is a member of The Piano Technicians Guild (a non-profit organization of piano technicians) who has demonstrated competence by passing a series of three rigorous examinations on the maintenance, repair and tuning of pianos.
